In 1986, Mr. Rahim Afshar and his brothers founded and named the company after their father. Originally an importation company, they operated out of a small office above the family’s ‘Kabir Shop’ on Southampton’s London Road.

2010 saw the opening of ’s new offices in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, featuring a tasting room and carefully curated museum.
